The works comprise the electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant associated with sewage treatment plants and foul/storm water pumping stations.The works will be carried out on sewage treatment plants and pumping stations under the control of West Berkshire District Council at various locations within the district of West Berkshire.The Contract for carrying out the works will be for a 24month period.

All applicants are required to express their interest via our Procurement Portal -http://westberks.klickstream.com/ (Note :-Suppliers will be required to register in the first instance,if not already done so).

These seek information including Economic, Financial standing and Technical experience.

All suppliers submitting will be scored on their commercial and financial standings from the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (Form F008) plus the 2 referee documents(f010b) received from your referees.

The Contracting Authority intends to invite tenders from a minimum of 5 and no more than 7 organisations.

It is the responsibility of the Supplier to forward one copy of the Referee document(F010b)to each of their referees quoted in Section B12 of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. They also must ensure that their Referees submit these directly to the Corporate Contracts & Procurement Unit(Fax.01635-519264) by the deadline date of noon on Thursday 13th May 2010. Failure to comply with this may result in disqualification.

Failure to answer all questions in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and provide supporting documentation requested may result in disqualification.

All completed applications, including the supporting evidence requested are to be sent by post to -
